Confrontation
Matt: It was very thoughtless of you to laugh at Krampus. What if you meet him and have to answer for your mockery? That’s exactly what’s about to happen now, if you think about it. Bring all the items you found lately to the living room.
Task: Go through the living room in cache mode.
Nat: Lance, so who’s that Krampus?
Lance: A monster. An antipode of Santa Claus. While the good-natured Santa is giving presents to good kids, Krampus is threatening and punishing naughty ones. That’s what his rods are for.
Nat: And the basket is for dragging them away to his hellish lair, yes? Damn, if in my childhood I’d have been told that Krampus with his chains, rods and such an ugly mug would come for me… Well, let’s just say it’d be much more effective than trying to threaten me with the fact that Santa won’t give me any presents if I’m naughty.
Matt: Lance, you’re such a well-educated boy, what’s with that one-sided approach? Krampus is not just some monster. He’s a companion of Santa Claus, and mister Christmas spirit doesn’t mind him at all, or else he would have gotten rid of him a long time ago.
Matt: It’s just that someone hasn't got the guts to do the dirty but just work. Mister Santa has voluntarily resigned a part of his duties in order to look all so goody-goody next to the supposedly absolute evil. Does it remind you of something?
Matt: Too bad, but you’ve disrupted my initial plans for this Christmas. If only one fastidious person didn’t have an urge to clean up the shards of a flowerpot, it could all have been different. With costumes, fun and traps. What a irresponsibility in the middle of a shift!
So that was Matt and not some delirium from the concussion or the curse? You could have put an end to all the sufferings right then and there.
