Face of the enemy

Lance runs to the library shelf and takes one of the books. He leafs through it quickly and throws on the floor with displeasure. Then, after thinking for a second, Lance picks the book up from the floor and hands it to you.
Lance: Don’t leave, p-please.
Lance takes out of the bookcase one book after another and hangs them to you. You’re already having trouble holding a dozen of weighty tomes in your hands.
Nat: Feather, did I miss the moment he was hit by the lightning or something? Because all safety devices in his head seem to have burned.
Lance: No, that’s not it. Here’s letter "C". Christmas doesn’t fit. Hm. I am such a m-moron! I need your help. Feather, put those books down and go to the second floor. Nat, you take the left bottom bookcase.
Lance: Look for any books that have words "Mythology", "Folklore", "Tales" in their names. All possible variations. Something like Если повезет, "German mythilogy" or "Alpine folklore", if you’re lucky. Leaf through, looking for something suspicious. If you find it, put the book aside.
