Quests from The Panic Room: House of Secrets

Faceshield

Jim: Feather, do you know who the catcher is? It's a player who takes the service from the pitcher. What? Who's the pitcher? It's the player who keeps the fire in. Let's discuss the details later. Speaking of catchers — they wear special protection for reason. Their job is pretty rough. We need to make some equipment for our players.

Task: Go through the Living room in the "words" mode. Find the unknown item in the living room. You will not find the item immediately.

Jim: Feather, I try to be liable as the captain of the team, but I never forget that first of all I am the doctor.

Jim: If another player is injured during the game, I'll immediately resign my captain's authority to assist him.

Did Jim wink at you or was it just your imagination?

Jim: We'll try to avoid that, right? I'm not saying that we should equip our catcher with iron armor, but head protection will not go amiss.

After a few minutes of searching you find a box under the table. It wasn't here before.

Jim: Have you found something?

You open the box, and find a sport helmet in it.

Jim: It looks like a cricket helmet, but it's not the best model - without a faceshield.

Jack: What faceshield?

It looks like today everybody decided to sneak up and scare you with their sudden appearance? Jack enters the room holding two baseball bats.

Jack: Jim, you forgot to pick it up from the basement. So, what's about that faceshield?

Jim: Our catcher's helmet doesn't have one.

Jack: Yes, it's a problem... I throw like a storm. It'll sweep away the catcher and batter, and the judge, and fans.

Jack looks around the room.

Jack: Or it's not a problem... You know, Jim, today fireplace provides invaluable assistance to us. Don't you want to take it in your team - it can bring you the decided point?

Jim: Only after you’ll take it as the underground member. He had already found more items than you for all the time you stay in the house.

Brothers stare at each other, then both start to laugh. Jack slaps Jim's shoulder.

Jack: Turned on the "rough pitching" mode? It doesn't suit you. Look what we can find in the living room. So what do you think? We can cut the necessary part from the grate, and then weld it back.

Jim: Feather, while we saw, Jack and I will remind you the rules and terms of the game if you don't mind.

You've completed the task and received some points of freedom and some tokens.

Jack: So Jim, you can sleep well now, your helmet has a true ball proof faceshield.
