Lance throws the last pumpkin at Nat, who’s already picked two from the floor by then. The girl’s reflexes worked perfectly. Nat caught the one thrown at her, but dropped those already collected.
Nat looks at the spreading pulp at her feet and then forcefully throws the remaining pumpkin on the floor.
