Leonard: Let’s go and find out what was next.
Task: Go through the living room in «Ghosts» mode.
The room gets dark, you see Leonard running. There’s a bright spot of light behind him, it looks like fire’s glow. Dogs are barking in the distance. Then he stops and you see that it’s not the boy Leo anymore, it’s adult Leonard. But when did he grow up?
Leonard: While I was in the infirmary a fire has started in the prison — the church and the adjoining building were burning. Maybe that unknown well-wisher was the one who started the fire, maybe not. It doesn’t matter anymore.
Leonard: What’s important is when everyone rushed to put the fire out, I’ve dressed in white overall and has simply walked out of the prison gates. No one has tried to stop me. Later they came to their senses of course and sent dogs after me, but I was too far gone.
Leonard: What caused the fire and what did my lamp have to do with it? What happened to the prisoner who talked to me? I do not know. The only thing that mattered to me was freedom. For the first time in many years I was happy.
