Reflection at work

Leonard: That’s right. Fuses were in the past, now I was making lamp frames. It was more difficult, but also more interesting. They were bringing me workpieces and I’ve been shaping them on the workbench. It was very important to estimate the size precisely, because I couldn’t cut the metal — we were not given sharp objects, just a blunt and not too heavy a hammer.
