Quests from The Panic Room: House of Secrets

Do not disturb

Tan: Feather? Brothers have left without explaining what’s going on. A holiday during which you should fight? That’s very odd. Shall we ask Jenny?

Task: Go through the unknown room in "words" mode.

You’re just about to open the door when the aroma of fresh baked goods all but knocks you off your feet. A timer beeps on the cooker and Jenny, wearing oven gloves, takes a brown round loaf out of the oven. She notices you and smiles.

Jenny: The Lammas bread is ready! You can help yourself. Just let me cut it first.

Tan: Thank you, Jenny, we’ll be sure to try it. But first let me ask you a question: why were Jack and Jim fencing with sticks?

Jenny: Fencing?! How foolish. Oh. Were they really childish enough to do something like that? I can imagine what you’ve thought!

Tan: We are still lost in guesses. Can you explain it, please?

Jenny: Today is the first harvest celebration and the boys must have interpreted my explanation of Lughnasadh traditions in their own way.

Tan: Lughnasadh? It sounds like the word that Jack has failed to pronounce.

Jenny: Yes, the name is not simple. In Celtic it sounds like Lughnasadh or Lughnasa. A festival in the name of Lugh, deity of wisdom and crafts. The holiday is also called Lammas – a bread mass.

You completed the task and received some points of freedom and some tokens.

Jenny: Don’t take offence. Feather, you were sleeping and so was Isami. We decided to not bother you over trifles for once and prepared everything on our own. Even the Puppeteer has left several boxes with fresh food supplies. Although, I’m not sure if his generosity is even connected with the holiday.
