Expectations and Reality
Tan: Jim wasn’t in his room. If we don't find Jack in the basement, we'll have to search the whole house to understand what is happening. I'm sorry that you have to do it, Feather.
Task: Find an unknown item in the basement in the "shadows" mode. You will not find the item immediately.
Another failure. All you can find is another straw toy, this time looking like a dog. Disappointed, you kick an empty box under your feet.
Tan: Feather, let's start with the hallway and go around from room to room?
You agree with Isami. There is nothing more to do, and you're going up the stairs, when you hear thumps behind the door. Suddenly they stop. The door opens. Bright light momentarily blinds you but then your eyes adjust, and you see two silhouettes.
Jim: After you.
Jack: Oh, don't say that! Only after you!
Jack jokingly bows before Jim.
Doctor makes a gesture with his hand, indicating that he lets his brother go first.
Jack runs a few steps down, stops somewhere in the middle of the stairs and turns to Jim. Jim takes a step and closes the door behind him.
Both almost simultaneously square off: each of them gets his left hand behind his back, his right arm stretched forward. Then you notice that both are holding long sticks.
Jack also has a nibbled pear in his left hand.
You completed the task and received some points of freedom and some tokens.
Jack: So, where were we? Defend yourself!
