Quests from The Panic Room: House of Secrets

John's Diary. Author's Identity

Jim: The diary provides information not only about the events of the author's life, but also about the author himself... The last pages ingrain some suspicions that worry me very much. Why would the Puppeteer leave it here? And the ghost in the hallway... It's hardly visible, but I think it reacts to my presence. We need to reflect over it, that's why we need new diary pages.

Task: Collect 21 pages from John's diary. The pages are in the rooms of the house.

You've collected 21 pages from John's diary. You've got some points of freedom and some tokens. Your reputation among the Followers has increased by 1.

Jim: Some more pages? Excellent. Notice how John inverted the story of the criminal. He rewrote it like a fairy tale in his childhood. Sympathy for lonely and misunderstood people is typical for some teens, because they feel the same. Remember, he began writing after running from school and huddling in a dark corner, he felt himself offended by the whole world. Now he remembers some events from his childhood, and the tone of the record is changing, he, so to say, appeases himself.
