Quests from The Panic Room: House of Secrets

Last Test

Jim: There's one test left. Library, night, without falling into traps and in less than 30 seconds. Jack will be free, the headquarters of the Underground will move back to the basement, and I'll stop passing multiple tests. I'd like to express my respect for the Underground. You must have a really iron will and firm belief in your ideals to pass so many rooms, especially with severe injuries.

Task: Pass through the library in the "night" mode in less than 30 seconds without falling into traps.

The door opened and the hidden lock clicked at the same time. The shackles fell to the floor, the chain quickly disappeared under the cabinet. Jack gets up from the couch, shifts from foot to foot.

Jack: Thank you. Now everything will be back to normal...

Jim: We both know it won't. I think I lived your life far too long.

Jack: And I yours, yes. But at least we'll be back to our usual activities.

Jim: Will you be able to lead the Underground the way you used to?

Jack: I will be. But your Alice...

Jim: This is my problem.

Jack: And this is my phrase.

The brothers continue to talk as you leave the room quietly, feeling left out for the first time.

You passed through the library. For helping Jim you received some points of freedom and some tokens. Your reputation in the underground has increased by 2.

Jim: Thank you, Feather, I wouldn't have done it without you. Did you know that the Puppeteer calls you Feather? A symbol of freedom, which has changed a lot in this house - these are his words, and it's true. During the time you've been here everything has changed - Jenny, my brother, and the Puppeteer himself.
