Rats in the rear
Bill: Matt and Alice are on their guard because of the rumble John has made, so we won’t be able to take them by surprise anymore, but they’re not expecting a strike in the rear either. Did you hear that? The lock has yielded. Let’s go, Feather.
Task: Go through the study. To unlock the study, use a lockpick from your inventory.
You enter the room after Bill carefully. Firewood brothers are right behind you.
Bill: Two silhouettes at six o’clock. A man and a woman.
Jim: He’s got a gun in his hands…
Jack is looking around, searching for a weapon. Picks something up.
Jim: A croquette mallet?
Jack: Damn eyes… I thought it was a bat. Well, sorry, I left the shotgun in my other jeans. By the way, it’s a truly English weapon. It would only be more authentic if we’d pelted Matt with darts.
Bill: Be quiet.
One of the figures turns around, leans forward and stretches out a hand — another silhouette slowly grows out of the floor.
Bill: Blast it. John, Ryan! Friends coming!
John: You’re here too. Coming from both sides — it turned out as a nice trap. Too bad no one’s gotten into it.
Jack: What were you expecting? The visual effects were great but they made even the cockroaches to lock themselves up and barricade the door
