Quests from The Panic Room: House of Secrets

Ode to Joy

Jack: Ryan, anyone who accuses planters in a plot, needs professional help. We'll take you to Jim, even if we have to tie you first.

Task: Go through the winter gardenin the "word."

Jack comes out of hiding with a look as if he was a true policeman who caught the criminal in the act. Ryan snorts disparagingly, erasing the satisfied smile from Jack's face. It seems that he has already managed to crush a coherent Jack's theory without even saying a word.

Ryan: Could not come sooner? Or later? While Jack hasn't started to spend my time making crazy assumptions, I'll finish.

Jack: Now I see the good old Ryan.

Ryan: Matt turned the music on and off the music in the house so that no one heard it except me. Wanted to make me mad.

Jack: In some ways, he succeeded. I could not believe you. But - hey, Matt! You outsmarted yourself.

You hear the melody in the winter garden, the one Ryan was humming. The volume level changes from a barely perceptible to unbearably loud. After a few seconds the music subsides.

Matt: Beethoven's Ninth Symphony. Immortal, unlike you, work of art.

Jack: This is what he used to make you crazy?

Matt: Look, Ryan, Jack is jealous for our little game. And he's right! It's unfair to have favorites, everyone should take part in the music festival.

You completed Jack’s task and received some points of freedom and some tokens

Matt: Listen and admire.
