Quests from The Panic Room: House of Secrets

Jack and John

Jim: Shut the door. Rumors crawl quickly, and if the members from both fractions come here, that won't be good.

Task: Go through the hallway.

You close the door upon the underground members. John sits on the steps, his shoulders sagged. The old man only grunts, with arms across, Jack grins.

Jack: You're the Puppeteer, right?

John: I was.

Jim: Jack!

Jim barely has time to take a step in their direction, when his younger brother runs to John... and punches him in the cheek so that the former Puppeteer falls on stage. Jack blowing on dissected knuckles, while his sudden victim sits.

John: Feel better?

Jack: Completely. I promised to punch you in the face, and I kept my promise.

Jim: Jack, he opened the door!

Jack: I see that, thank you very much. And why the hell are we still here?

John points with his chin on the winking red light of the camera.

John: Nature abhors a vacuum. Matt stole my hardware. He also nailed up the door.

Another blow, John falls back on the ladder then rises again.

Jack: Nerd! You could not lock his lair, so any one could walk in and take what he wants! Idiot! You've put up cameras everywhere, and did not notice that this macaque nailed up the door? What a good observer you are!

Jim: Jack!

Young underground member pauses. Looks around. Notices a first aid kit, two syringes and a piece of cotton glued to John's hand. Snorts.

Jack: A nerd indeed. And do not hope I'll drag you to Scotland Yard dead or alive.

John: I hope not. But first, find your way out, lab rat. Matt is not me - he won't water you from the fire suppression system.

Jack: I'll do! We just have to get to him!

Bill: Jim, you're asked to come to show us that our goals have changed?

John: Tools have changed. And the goal is still the same. Freedom, it seems, will never lose its relevance.

Bill: Clear. Thank you for warning before the monkey itself announces the grenades in his possession.

You completed Jim’s task and received some points of freedom and some tokens

Jim: Thank you, Feather. We all need some time now to rethink what had happened. I really don't know what to do with the Followers now.
