War decoration
Jack: Look what I've found in the plane. Yeah, a piece of old ribbon... A service one. White and purple, I think it's part of the Military Cross decoration. We need to look in the children's room, maybe we can find the cross itself.

Jack: Oh, great! It's personalized and engraved, but it's hard to make out anything. It was awarded only to career officers, for bravery, and not to privates. That's bullshit, I think. As though officers have some special kind of bravery!
