Quests from The Panic Room: House of Secrets

Old parable

Isami: Jenny hasn't gone out of the children's room for ages. Feather, please, come. I need to tell her the found story, we shouldn't be disturbed.

Task: Go through the children's room.

Jenny is sitting on the bed when you enter the room. Isami moves to the chest, and when you close the door she quietly begins to tell the story.

Isami: Once upon a time in a country far away, where the sun never sets, there lived an emperor. He was kind and wise, he didn't wage wars. His country flourished, and the rulers of other countries were jealous of him. Once one of the haters came to a sorcerer and said: "Make the country of my enemy fall!"

Isami: But the sorcerer said that the country would flourish while its ruler was strong. Then the hater said: "Make him lose his power!" But the sorcerer refused to do it because a wise ruler can't become weak. He also refused to take his mind because even a mad man can be a sage. Then the hater asked to take away the emperor's happiness to make him lose his power, mind and wisdom.

Isami: The sorcerer cursed the emperor so that he could no longer find happiness on earth. He lost his wisdom and started a war, he lost his mind and became a tyrant. And without strength he was no longer able to keep to power. his country fell, and the hater was happy. The old sorcerer just cried and shook his head, because he hadn't known, what troubles his curse would have caused, so he pulled it off, but it was too late.

Isami: The former emperor was wandering around the earth, he was poor, weak and mad. And one day a girl, his milk sister, a maid of his palace saw him. She invited him into the house, took care of him, because she loved him and didn't care about what people said. She loved him so much that she was willing to endure his madness, his weakness.

Isami: And looking at her, he remembered what kind of man he was. She warmed him with her light and the curse broke - he was back to happiness, to the mind and strength.

When the door opens, Isami leaves.

You completed Isami's task. You received some points of freedom and some tokens.

Jenny: Thank you ... She's right, I have to be strong. John made me think of my life, but he must have forgotten what kind of man he used to be. We'll remind him, Feather, won't we? And he will become the old John again.
