Leonard: I was lucky so far. I found money and clothes, made it to Witchbridge. My goal was closer than ever.

Leonard: Getting to the house unnoticed is easier from the oak-grove in the north. Getting inside — through the third floor window. It’s never locked and you only need to climb the old elm tree. On the table there’s a newspaper with an article named «Fire in prison» on the frontpage. Looks like I’m famous now. I should cross the corridor past the salon without drawing attention…
Fog: Looks like you won’t be beaten at poker today, mister Allford. Your father would be proud.
Leonard: For most people here I’m just another guest. A man walks out of the hall. I think I know him.
Caleb: So many wins in a row — it’s starting to look suspicious…
Leonard: A small nod, a moment's hesitation, but the masquerade is not broken. A tailcoat and top hat stolen from the tailor are keeping my secret safe. I go downstairs.
