Ace and Bragger
Leonard: Tension increases, nearing the climax. Let's go to the library and see everything with our own eyes.
Task: Go through the library in the shadows mode.
Lynette: Well, Caleb, are you going to ask to see my cards? It is one or the other. You either go to the end or you will never know what I had in my hands?
Caleb: I will see your cards, Lynette. I call ten thousand.
The silence in the room was frightening. The spectators froze and a dozen of pairs of eyes were on the cards that were laid down on the table one by one. Caleb was first.
Ace of spades - the highest card.
Jack of clubs - a bragger which replaces any card.
The third card lingered in Caleb's fingers. A dramatic pause before the third ace? If so, Madame's chances are slim...
No. Ten of clubs. A light wave of disappointment rippled through the hall. Caleb had a pair made with a bragger, but it was a pair of aces. If he was right, and Madame only had a pair, the victory was most likely his. The next few seconds will decide the outcome.
Lynette's face was stony.
