Rat's Cunning
Jack: Feather, I think enough time has passed for out meeting not to arouse suspicion.
Task: Go through the unknown room in the night mode.
Jacks motions for you to move closer.
Jack: Don't worry, it's a camera blind spot.
Jack takes a squeaking furball out of his pocket – it's Nan!
Jack: Feather, meet modernized Nan. Modernized Nan, meet Feather.
You notice that an electric device is tied to rat's back. It is made of the items that Jack asked you to find. The damper!
Jack: Listen, Feather. The idea was to look for the weak spots of the house. See where the bugs are. And the attic dweller has unwittingly helped us. While you were going through the rooms, I let the rat out. Under false pretenses I went to the attic and participated in Ryan's vigil in front of the monitors, accosting him with requests that I should get another board while keeping an eye on the screens. Feather, we did it! There was noise on the monitors and Ryan was deafened by his earphones a couple times!
You can practically feel Jack's vigour in the air. He is clearly happy with his achievements.
Jack: Which means that the Puppeteer would have taken notice of the interference, had you not distracted him with your screaming and unhurried walk-through. Good job, Captain Snail!
